For existing workplace pension customers, our mobile app already lets your employees view and manage their Royal London workplace pension at any time. They can also find future projections of what their investments might be worth, alongside a range of guidance tools and support materials that aim to help them to make confident financial decisions.  
 
Other options employees have through our online service include: 

  • changing their details
  • transferring pensions to Royal London
  • reviewing and adjusting their investments.

Employees who open a Royal London Stocks and Shares ISA can manage it through the same app, all in one place. Having a simple overview of all their Royal London investments in one place could help your employees stay on top of their investments. 

ProfitShare

A key benefit of investing with Royal London, a customer-owned mutual, is our aim to boost your employees’ investments with ProfitShare. This awards a share of our profits to customers with qualifying Royal London plans when we do well.

There’s no guarantee we can award ProfitShare every year. But, when we can, qualifying Royal London plans (including eligible pensions and our Stocks and Shares ISA) will enjoy a boost from ProfitShare. This can help them towards their financial goals. 

Clear, competitive charge

Your employees will enjoy the same competitive annual management charge on their Royal London Stocks and Shares ISA as you’ve secured on their workplace pension when they invest in our expertly managed options, including our flagship Governed Range. If they invest in our wider range of externally managed funds, this charge may vary. 
 
For you as the employer, there’s no additional charge to add the Stocks and Shares ISA to your benefits package.

Our Stocks and Shares ISA is an investment. Your employees’ money isn’t locked away (they can access it at any time), but the recommended holding period is five years or more. Investing over a longer timeframe can help smooth out market ups and downs and give their money more chance to benefit from compound growth.

For employees, combining both our Stocks and Shares ISA with their Royal London workplace pension gives them the opportunity to invest for both their retirement as well as shorter-term goals they may have before they stop working.

Our workplace pension

A Royal London workplace pension comes with ongoing support throughout the life of your scheme for both you and your employees. 
 
We give employers who are new to offering their employees a Royal London workplace pension a dedicated implementation manager. They'll take ownership and accountability for setting up your scheme. This includes personal support and guidance, along with full training for you and your team on our online service.
 
Meanwhile, your employees benefit from our financial wellbeing service, which offers personalised guidance for employees in the form of videos, guides and tips.
